Drywall dents are a snap to fix. This project requires a little joint compound or spackle and the ability to fill, smooth, and finish. Learn how to fix drywall dents quickly and smoothly.

Step-by-Step
1. Fill the dent.
Pack the joint compound and smooth. If the patch shrinks after drying, apply a second coat.
2. Smooth the surface
Sand surface very lightly -- or smooth by wiping with a damp sponge.
3. Finish the repair
Joint compound must be primed before you paint. Some paints self-prime.
